Jedediah Smith State Park | California Redwoods Locations

Walker Road (Simpson Reed), California Redwoods

Walker Road is a great in between location between Crescent City California and Brookings Oregon. Walker Road has some beautiful trails and one in-particular tree trunk that is great for photos in front of or to climb on top of.. The Redwoods is the best on a sunny day with the light coming through the trees. Shooting at the redwoods should be done mid-day for the best lighting as it can get really dark any other time. I suggest if your gonna book your session at the Redwoods then we end sunset on the beach in either Crescent City, California or Brookings, Oregon.

Templemans Grove, California Redwoods

templemans grove is a great location headed towards Brookings Oregon.

Jedediah Smith State Park, California Redwoods (STOUT GROVE)

Jedediah Smith State Park is a great location closer to Crescent City California as there is a back road that will take you through the redwoods and out in Crescent City Califonia. Jedediah has some beautiful trails and tree trunks that is great for photos in front of or to climb on top of.. The Redwoods is the best on a sunny day with the light coming through the trees. Nickerson Jedediah Smith State Park, California Redwoods

The Nickerson Ranch Trail cuts through redwood lowlands just across from the Boy Scout Tree Trail. Has a cute little bridge nearby.
